Timily Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Timily mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Services”), operated by Dangran World Limited (“Timily,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Parent-Directed Service
Timily is a parent-directed service designed to help parents manage children’s screen time, device access, and focus routines.
Accounts are created, configured, and managed by parents or legal guardians (“Parents”). While the Services include a companion interface for children, all use of the child-facing features occurs under the direction, supervision, and responsibility of the Parent who created the account. Parents are solely responsible for configuring the Services and for supervising a child’s use of any device.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You represent that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
You may be required to create an account to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.
3. Subscription and Payments
Timily is a paid subscription service. Payments and subscriptions are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s payment terms.
We do not store your payment information. We receive only subscription status information necessary to provide access to paid features.
Refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are governed by Apple’s App Store policies.
4. Use of the Services
The Services rely on operating system–level features, including Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls APIs, to deliver functionality.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- The Services may not prevent every bypass, workaround, or device behavior in all circumstances, nor do we guarantee the absolute accuracy of screen time reporting or activity logs, which rely on system-level data.
- The availability and performance of certain features may depend on the operating system, device configuration, and third-party platform behavior beyond our control.
- We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
- The Services may be unavailable, interrupted, or delayed from time to time due to maintenance, system updates, network conditions, or factors beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability of the Services.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful or unauthorized purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or bypass the Services
- Use automated systems to access the Services
- Misuse the Services in a way that could harm Timily or other users
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Services, including software, design, trademarks, and content, are owned by Timily or its licensors.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
7. Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

9. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THEY WILL PREVENT ALL BYPASSES OR WORKAROUNDS.
NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE: The Services are for informational and management purposes only and do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice. You should not rely on the Services as a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment of screen addiction, behavioral issues, or mental health concerns.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIMILY AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIMILY’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Timily from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
12. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if eligible.
The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis. Class actions, class arbitrations, and representative actions are not permitted.
The arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, and the seat of arbitration shall be Hong Kong, unless otherwise required by applicable law. The arbitration may be conducted remotely, including by video conference or written submissions, unless the arbitrator determines that an in-person hearing is necessary.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Apple App Store Terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store:
- Apple is not a party to these Terms
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
- You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. General / Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.
